A Moment To Catch Up
Oh my! I can't believe I have not posted since May! It has been a very busy summer! We had lots of personal stuff going on including the move of some of my family from Pennsylvania to near me here in Arkansas. I am thankful to now have them just a few blocks away after being thousands of miles away for many years.
Then in June my husband and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary. It's hard to believe it's been that long. Time flies when you are married to a great guy who loves you as if you were only just married a few weeks. :) I made my dress for the party from Butterick 4513 using vintage fabric I found on ebay several years ago.
Business has been very busy too. I was thrilled to be asked to be interviewed by a local magazine. The article came out in the August issue and you can read it on line here: @Urban Magazine. The experience was so much fun from start to finish!
I hope you all had a wonderful summer! Now that the weather is started to cool down (thank goodness!), we are turning our thoughts to new items we will have for you just in time for the holidays, including new snood designs, new colors of the bunny snood, and a brand new item. Stay tuned!

The Vintage Lifestyle Hour
I was really excited when I was invited to be on the The Vintage Lifestyle Hour on Women's View Radio.
I knew about the show from having listened to it when my friend Lolita Haze was on last summer. I was honored to be asked and happy to have the opportunity to talk about my shop, how it came in to being and the great people I have that help me out.
If you would like to learn more about me and my shop I would love for you to listen and leave a comment!

Introducing The Vintage Bunny!
I am pleased to announce the arrival of a new style snood called The Vintage Bunny! Made from the same pattern as the traditional 1940s style snood, this model is made from a lovely mohair and silk blend yarn.
It is very soft and light as a feather!
The mohair creates a fuzzy halo for your hair!
